Adele Stays Atop Hot 100, Lady Gaga Makes 'Glory'-ous Start

Adele's "Rolling in the Deep" claims a second week at No. 1 on the Billboard Hot 100, to be released tomorrow (May 19) on Billboard.com, while Lady Gaga's "The Edge of Glory" soars in at No. 3.

"Rolling in the Deep" strengthens its lock atop the chart with Airplay Gainer honors for a third consecutive week and the Digital Gainer award for the second time in four weeks. The song rises 3-2 on Radio Songs (118 million in audience, up 19%, according to Nielsen BDS) and logs a second frame atop Digital Songs with its highest weekly sum to-date (353,000 downloads sold, up 20%, according to Nielsen SoundScan).

As previously reported, Adele's "21" dominates the Billboard 200 for an eighth week, while  "Rolling in the Deep" sets the weekly plays record in its third frame in charge of the Adult Pop Songs airplay chart.

Katy Perry's former Hot 100 No. 1 "E.T.," featuring Kanye West, holds at No. 2, while Lady Gaga's "The Edge of Glory" blasts in at No. 3. The third single from her album "Born This Way," due May 23, charges in as the highest new entry on Digital Songs (No. 2; 266,000) and Radio Songs (No. 54; 20 million, up 361%).

Lady Gaga has started higher on the Hot 100 and Digital Songs only with the title cut from "Born This Way," which launched atop both surveys in February.

With "Born This Way" having led the Hot 100 for six weeks and prior single "Judas" having debuted and peaked at No. 10 four weeks ago (it falls 19-27 this week), Lady Gaga's first 10 singles promoted to radio have reached the Hot 100's top 10. Among women in the chart's five-decade history, only Mariah Carey (11) has begun with more consecutive career-opening top 10 singles.

Pitbull unleashes his fifth Hot 100 top five hit, as "Give Me Everything," featuring Ne-Yo, AfroJack and Nayer, vaults 8-4. The song jumps 15-8 on Radio Songs (71 million, up 25%) in its fifth week, marking Pitbull's fastest flight to the chart's top tier as a lead artist. On Digital Songs, "Give Me Everything" ascends 7-4 (186,000, up 22%).

The Black Eyed Peas' "Just Can't Get Enough" dips 4-5 on the Hot 100, while Jennifer Lopez's "On the Floor," featuring Pitbull, slides 3-6.

Rounding out the Hot 100's top 10, Bruno Mars' "The Lazy Song" drops 5-7, Britney Spears' "Till the World Ends" slips 6-8, Chris Brown's former No. 6-peaking "Look at Me Now," featuring Lil Wayne and Busta Rhymes, rebounds 10-9 and Jeremih's "Down on Me," featuring 50 Cent, rises 12-10 after reaching No. 4 last month.

Below Lady Gaga's "The Edge of Glory," 12 other songs arrive on the Hot 100.

Enrique Iglesias matches his best Hot 100 debut rank, as "Dirty Dancer," with Usher and featuring Lil Wayne, opens at No. 18. The song begins on Digital Songs at No. 9 with 126,000 downloads, marking both his highest debut position on the tally and his best first-week sales total.

Iglesias likewise arrived at No. 18 on the Hot 100 with previous pop single "Tonight (I'm Lovin' You)" (featuring Ludacris & DJ Frank E), which reached No. 4. As "I Like It" (featuring Pitbull), the first release from "Euphoria," also rose to No. 4, the set is Iglesias' first to yield three top 20 Hot 100 hits (although the remix of "Dancer" with Lil Wayne is not included on the album).

The "Glee" cast sends six songs onto the Hot 100, led by its cover of the chart's top song, "Rolling in the Deep," at No. 29 (93,000 downloads). New at No. 34, the troupe's take on Rebecca Black's "Friday" (82,000) outperforms the original, which stopped at No. 58 seven weeks ago. (Despite its viral buzz -- 143 million YouTube views in its first three months -- Black's "Friday" peaked at No. 38 on Digital Songs and did not reach the Radio Songs survey).

The Hot 100's fifth top 40 debut this week represents Aerosmith frontman Steven Tyler's first appearance on the list as a solo artist. The "American Idol" judge's "(It) Feels So Good" bounds in at No. 35 (and No. 24 on Digital Songs) with digital sales of 77,000. Aerosmith has charted 28 songs on the Hot 100, beginning with "Dream On" in 1973.

Other Hot 100 arrivals include Rick Ross' "9 Piece," featuring Lil Wayne or T.I. (No. 61); the Lonely Island's "Jack Sparrow" (featuring Michael Bolton) (No. 69), from the act's "Turtleneck & Chain," which bows at No. 3 on the Billboard 200; and, 2007 "Idol" champion Jordin Sparks' "I Am Woman" (No. 82), which she performed Thursday (May 12) on the series' stage.

All charts, including the Hot 100, Digital Songs and Radio Songs, will be refreshed tomorrow on Billboard.com.

‘The Edge of Glory’ Debuts on Billboard

Lady Gaga’s latest single “The Edge of Glory” this week debuts at No. 3 on the Billboard Hot 100 with 266,000 copies sold and 20 million audience impressions on the radio. The Fernando Garibay-produced track is Gaga’s second-highest debut on both Hot 100 and Hot Digital Songs – the singer has started higher only with “Born This Way,” which landed atop both charts back in February.

“Edge” also becomes Lady Gaga’s tenth top 10 hit in the United States in a row. In the chart’s 50-year history, only Mariah Carey has scored more consecutive career-opening top 10 singles.

The World's Most Powerful Celebrities List

The World's Most Powerful Celebrities List - click this link for the complete list

The men and women on our annual Celebrity 100 list--the most powerful people in the entertainment business this year--earned $4.5 billion over the last 12 months by starring in films, playing basketball, walking the catwalk and more. But they also rose to the top by garnering influence.

These days that means mastering social media. Lady Gaga topples Oprah Winfrey from her No.1 spot on our list, which she's given up for only the third time in seven years. Gaga is there not just because of the $90 million she earned with a monster tour, but also because of her 32 million Facebook fans and 10 million Twitter followers--aka Little Monsters--who helped move 1 million digital downloads of her recent single "Born This Way" in only five days. They're also happy to buy the MAC makeup, Monster headphones and Virgin Mobile phones she features in her videos.

Oprah doesn't fall far though. The daytime talk maven, who earned $290 million last year, comes in second. Winfrey's earnings sank $25 million partially due to a reduced payday at SiriusXM. She still earns big from her syndicated show and from the stars she's spawned, including Dr. Phil (No. 18) Rachael Ray and Dr. Oz. Winfrey's earning power will take a bigger hit next year, when her syndicated show ends and she concentrates all her efforts on the struggling OWN network.

Maybe it would help if Oprah took a lesson from No. 3 Justin Bieber. The Biebs debuts on our list at the tender young age of 17, with $53 million earned over the last 12 months thanks to concerts, music sales and a 3-D documentary movie that grossed $100 million at the global box office. If this were 10 years ago Bieber would still be paying his dues in small clubs and schools, but thanks to the Internet, he's a sensation. His first hit song, "Baby," has been viewed 500 million times, a YouTube record.

Reality TV it girl Bethenny Frankel is another newbie worth noting. Famous for her newest hit show, Bethenny Ever After, she's used the small-screen platform to promote her Skinnygirl brand, helping her earn $55 million this year. She joins our list in 42nd place. Her entrepreneurial prowess--she sold her Skinnygirl Cocktails to Fortune Brands ( FOPRA - news -people ) and nabbed a $100 million cut of the deal paid out over multiple years--also put her on the cover of our magazine this week.

The Celebrity 100, which includes film and television actors, TV personalities, models, athletes, authors, musicians and comedians, is a measure of entertainment-related earnings and media visibility (exposure in print, television, radio and online). We also measure social media power by looking at each celebrity's presence on Facebook and Twitter. The earnings consist of pretax income between May 1, 2010, and May 1, 2011. Management, agent and attorney fees are not deducted. Forbes has been publishing the list annually since 1999.
Despite problems on and off the golf course, Tiger Woods still makes the top 10, ranking sixth with $75 million in annual earnings. Woods hasn't won a tournament since the revelation of his marital infidelities in 2009, and he recently withdrew from The Players Championship. But he still commands $3 million a pop for overseas appearances, and collects money from his remaining sponsors, Nike ( NKE - news - people ) and Electronic Arts ( ERTS - news - people ).
Having a much better year: Leonardo DiCaprio. The star makes the biggest leap on our list this year, rising from 71st place to 15th, thanks to two huge movies: Shutter Island andInception. The latter earned $825 million at the global box office, making it the sixth-highest-earning film of 2010. That went a long way toward helping DiCaprio earn $77 million over the last 12 months.
Will Smith returns to our list this year thanks to the upcomingMen in Black III, in which he'll reprise his role as Agent J. Smith had fallen off of our list in 2010 because he took time off to nurture the budding careers of his children, Jaden and Willow. Jaden starred in a remake of The Karate Kid (which Smith produced); the film earned $360 million. Smith helped Willow with her hit song "Whip My Hair." The video for the song has been viewed 11 million times.
Notable drop-offs include Britney Spears, who ranked sixth in 2010 but stumbled this year because she didn't tour. With theHarry Potter franchise coming to an end, Daniel Radcliffe (who ranked 82nd last year) also failed to make the cut.

Adele's 'Rolling in the Deep' Tops Hot 100

Adele ascends to her first No. 1 on the Billboard Hot 100, to be released tomorrow (May 12) on Billboard.com, as "Rolling in the Deep" rises 2-1.

The song concurrently reaches the summit on Digital Songs (2-1), despite a 2% decline to 294,000 copies sold, according to Nielsen SoundScan. "Deep" garners the Hot 100's Airplay Gainer award for a second consecutive week, rising 7-3 on Radio Songs (99 million in audience, up 28%, according to Nielsen BDS).

The soulful song's coronation marks a female artist's first Hot 100 No. 1 since Ke$ha's debut single "TiK ToK" began a nine-week reign the week of Jan. 2, 2010. Prior to "Deep," Adele had charted solely with the No. 21-peaking "Chasing Pavements," from her debut album "19," in 2009.

(Following the bow of "Deep" on the Dec. 25, 2010, Hot 100, Adele has added the album cuts "Someone Like You" (No. 65), "Set Fire to the Rain" (No. 88) and "Turning Tables" (No. 63), all from her sophomore set "21," which commands the Billboard 200 for a seventh frame; Adele is the first female artist to top the Hot 100 and Billboard 200 simultaneously since Ke$ha ("TiK ToK," "Animal," respectively) the week of Jan. 23, 2010).

Having reached No. 21 last week on Billboard's Alternative Songs chart (this week dipping to No. 22), "Deep" is the highest-peaking Alternative hit by a solo female artist to top the Hot 100 since Sinead O'Connor's "Nothing Compares 2 U" spent one week atop Alternative and four frames atop the Hot 100 in spring 1990.

"Deep" pushes Katy Perry's "E.T.," featuring Kanye West, to No. 2 on the Hot 100, after five weeks on top, and Digital Songs, after seven weeks in charge. "E.T." gains in audience, spending a third week atop Radio Songs (143 million, up 3%), while dropping by 21% to 237,000 downloads sold.

After Jennifer Lopez traded her judge's chair for the stage to perform "On the Floor," featuring Pitbull, on "American Idol" last Thursday (May 5), the song soars 7-3 with Digital Greatest honors on the Hot 100 (175,000 downloads, up 25%). The song had previously peaked at No. 5 (March 19), the same rank at which her new album, "Love?," arrives on the Billboard 200 this week.

Rounding out the Hot 100's top five, the Black Eyed Peas' "Just Can't Get Enough" holds at No. 4 and Bruno Mars' "The Lazy Song" maintains its No. 5 rank.

After its remix featuring Nicki Minaj and Ke$ha sent Britney Spears' "Till the World Ends" vaulting 11-3 on last week's Hot 100, the song retreats to No. 6. Last week, the song sold 246,000 downloads, with the triple-threat remix accounting for 68% of the title's sales. This week, the song experiences a 49% digital sales erosion to 126,000, with the all-star remix accounting for 47% of the song's overall digital sum. Still, "World" bullets at No. 6 on Radio Songs with a 10% uptick to 87 million in audience, granting Spears the highest weekly audience of her 12-and-a-half-year chart career; "Hold It Against Me" peaked with 81 million the week of Feb. 19, 2011.

As with Lopez, an "Idol" performance last Thursday aids Lady Antebellum, whose "Just a Kiss" blasts onto the Hot 100 at No. 7, marking the highest debut for a country group in the chart's 52-year history. (Sugarland previously held the record with a No. 20 start for "Stuck Like Glue" the week of Aug. 14, 2010). The first single from the trio's forthcoming third studio album launches on Digital Songs at No. 3 (211,000). As previously reported, the ballad storms the Country Songs airplay chart at No. 28 with 6 million in first-week audience.

While rising 7-3 assisting Lopez on "Floor," Pitbull scores his fourth Hot 100 top 10 as a lead artist, and seventh overall, as "Give Me Everything," featuring Ne-Yo, AfroJack and Nayer, darts 13-8. The song jumps 11-7 on Digital Songs (153,000, up 25%) and 23-15 on Radio Songs (57 million, up 27%).

Rihanna's "S&M" slips 6-9 on the Hot 100 and Chris Brown's "Look at Me Now," featuring Lil Wayne and Busta Rhymes, holds at No. 10.

Along with Lady Antebellum's bow, two other songs debut in the Hot 100's top 40: dance track "Where Them Girls At" by David Guetta, featuring Flo Rida and Minaj (No. 14; 162,000 downloads), and "Fast Lane" by Bad Meets Evil, the duo of Eminem and Royce da 5'9" (No. 32, 84,000).

Additional Hot 100 entrances include five Fleetwood Mac covers by the "Glee" cast, led by its remake of "Go Your Own Way" at No. 45 (as the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame band's "Rumours" re-enters the Billboard 200 at No. 11); Don Omar's former 15-week Latin Songs No. 1 "Danza Kuduro" (No. 82); and, Thirty Seconds to Mars' "Closer to the Edge" (No. 99). "Idol" contestant James Durbin covered the lattermost song to begin last Wednesday's (May 4) episode.

Paris Hilton 'Scared' About Future With Cy Waits

Like many reality TV debuts, Paris Hilton's new show on Oxygen, 'The World According to Paris,' isn't without a few tears.

Hilton has left her notorious party girl ways behind her in this weepy clip from the heiress' upcoming reality show. Surrounded by her best friends, Hilton gets emotional while talking about the future of her relationship with boyfriend, Cy Waits.

At the mention of breaking up with Waits, Hilton reveals her insecurity about being single.

"I'm scared that I'm not going to meet anyone," she confesses.

"Are you kidding me!? You are one of the most beautiful girls in the whole entire world," a friend assures her.

Donald Trump Dishes on Maintaining His Curious Coif

Although some may be more interested in Donald Trump's political antics, Rolling Stone got down to brass tacks with the potential 2012 presidential nominee -- how does he manicure his combover-combunder-combsomewhere coif?

"Okay, what I do is, wash it with Head and Shoulders," Trump detailed to the mag. "I don't dry it, though. I let it dry by itself. It takes about an hour. Then I read paper and things ... I also watch TV ... the 'Today' show did a beautiful piece on me yesterday."

For some reason we had no doubt that The Donald's morning routine involved him catching up on the media frenzy surrounding, well, him, of course.

"Okay, so I've done all that. I then comb my hair," he said. "Yes, I do use a comb."

But how Trump? How do you maneuver the comb through your gravity defying, humanity beguiling locks?

"Do I comb it forward? No, I don't comb it forward. I actually have a bad hairline. When you think about it, it's not bad. I mean, I get a lot of credit for comb-overs. But it's not really a comb-over. It's sort of a little bit forward and back."

Let's hope that trump's back and forth comb wielding strategies aren't an indication of his politics.

Justin Bieber Barfs During Concert

Pop star Justin Bieber fell so sick while performing in Manila, Philippines yesterday (May 10) that he vomited between songs, but insisted that the show must go on.

Reportedly, Bieber was diagnosed with a severe chest infection and was told to either cancel the show all together, or perform a shorter set. before the show, Bieber tweeted to his fans, "sick as a dog...but the show must go on. got called a trooper. lol."

The hard-working superstar agreed to an abbreviated show, but once he hit the stage, refused to let his fans down and just kept on singing and dancing away.

The puked-out performer fought through the entire 90-minute set, after which he tweeted, "that show was great but tough. real sick. time to rest. #muchlove #wegohard."

The Biebs recently suffered another messy concert mishap on his My World tour -- he was egged in the middle of a live show in Sydney, Australia a couple weeks ago.

Prince Bans Whitney Houston From His Concerts

On Monday, a rep for Whitney Houston confirmed that the legendary R&B and pop songstress was admitted to an outpatient rehab program to combat her drug abuse. As details of Whitney's current relapse continue to emerge, Prince has been named as one of the celebrity pals who could no longer tolerate her antics.

TMZ reports that Prince's irritation pushed the 'Purple Rain' star to ban Whitney from attending any of his future concerts.

Sources revealed that the trouble arose after the diva attended a few of Prince's recent shows, where she seemed to be "intoxicated" at each event. TMZ went on to say that Whitney insisted on joining Prince on stage, but was denied the chance because his team "didn't want her to embarrass herself." Her last strike was making "excessive ticket demands," which eventually led Prince to ban Houston from any future performances.

Houston's battle with drugs and addiction has been an ongoing saga, which has been publicly splashed across the tabloids for years. Almost two weeks ago, she was voluntarily admitted to a California clinic for treatment.

The 47-year-old performer was forced to delay dates on the European leg of the Nothing But Love tour, scheduled to touch down in Berlin on May 12. Her current relapse reportedly occurred while she was on the road performing dates in countries that included Japan and Australia in the past few weeks.

Pacino joins Travolta and Lohan for Gotti film

Al Pacino is telling a new mob family story, joining John Travolta for the crime saga "Gotti: Three Generations."

Pacino will play Gambino crime family underboss Neil Dellacroce, an associate and mentor to John Gotti Sr. (Travolta), according to the film's production company, Fiore Films.

"Gotti" reunites Pacino with Barry Levinson, who directed the actor in his role as Dr. Jack Kevorkian in last year's TV movie "You Don't Know Jackj," for which Pacino won an Emmy. Levinson also was a producer on Pacino's 1997 crime drama "Donnie Brasco," and co-wrote his 1979 court saga "... And Justice for All."

The cast also includes Lindsay Lohan, Joe Pesci and Travolta's wife, Kelly Preston.

Levinson, the Academy Award-winning director of 1988's "Rain Man," has brought his "Bugsy" collaborator James Toback on board to rework the script for "Gotti." The revisions will put more emphasis on Gotti's relationship with Dellacroce, who was something of a father figure to the crime boss, Levinson said.

"There's this whole thing about fathers and sons that plays through this piece," Levinson said of the film, based on the life story of Gotti's son, John Gotti Jr.

"You had a huge character in John Gotti, who's basically old school and believed in the structure of that whole system, and the son at a certain point in time basically begins to reject it and wants out of it. He says, 'I can't live my life this way,' so I think that's a real conflict," said Levinson.

Fiore Films, an independent production company, made the announcement Tuesday in Cannes, where the 64th Cannes Film Festival opens a day later.

"Al Pacino is one of the finest actors of all time and will bring an unsurpassed level of reality and excitement to the film," said Marc Fiore, the company's CEO

Pacino, 71, starred as mob leader Michael Corleone in Francis Ford Coppola's "The Godfather" movies. He won a Best Actor Oscar for 1992's "Scent of a Woman."

The big casting question left is: Who will play Gotti Jr?

"My guess is it's going to be someone that we may not really know. I only say that because I don't know now who's out there as a name where you say, 'Oh, yeah, he could be Gotti Jr.,'" Levinson said. "I've always worked with a lot of unknowns, people who hadn't really established themselves, so I've got no reluctance about that whatsoever."

Inclusion of photo in Princess Diana film sparks outrage

Keith Allen's new documentary about the death of Diana, Princess Of Wales is set to cause outrage by showing a shocking photograph of the late royal moments after the car crash in France which claimed her life.

Allen, who is the father of pop star Lily Allen, has directed the new film, "Unlawful Killing," due to be screened at the Cannes Film Festival in France, which kicks off on Wednesday.

The film documents Diana's death in a 1997 car accident, which also killed her companion Dodi Fayed and their chauffeur Henri Paul. A 2008 inquest ruled Paul caused the crash through grossly negligent driving.

Allen's movie shows a controversial photograph of Diana moments after the crash as rescue workers fought to save her. The graphic black and white image has never been shown in the U.K. and its inclusion in the film has already angered Fayed's businessman father Mohammed Al-Fayed.

A representative for Fayed tells Britain's Daily Mail, "He was not aware that any photograph taken of any occupant of the car was going to be in this film. He is appalled by that and will be taking all necessary steps to make sure it is not in the film."

A spokesman for the filmmakers adds, "The picture has been published in full before, in many parts of the world. We acquired the image from an Italian magazine, which had already published it in full. It is also widely available on the web ... We are therefore not publishing anything that the rest of the world has not already seen elsewhere."

Royal Couple Finally Jets Off for Official Honeymoon

After months of intense planning and the huge spectacle of a wedding, Prince William and Kate Middleton have officially left for their romantic honeymoon.

According to the BBC, Clarence House confirmed their couple's departure on Monday.

"We are not confirming, and we are not commenting, on speculation on where they may be going on their private honeymoon, we are just confirming that they have gone," a spokesman said, adding, "The couple have asked that their privacy be respected during their honeymoon."

Though the exact location of their getaway will not be released, the UK's Daily Mail reports that the newlyweds have jetted off to a private island in the Seychelles, located in the Indian Ocean.

According to the British paper, the couple will stay in a £4,000-a-night villa, where a private butler and personal chef will cater to the their every need.

According to a source, "It's one of the most incredible places you will ever visit and Kate will have the time of her life. It's everything you could want from a honeymoon destination and more -- beautiful beaches, tropical seas and complete privacy."

The newly-named Duke and Duchess of Cambridge were supposed to jet off on their vacation following last month's wedding. However, due to the intense media scrutiny over the honeymoon's location, the couple decided to postpone it for a few weeks.

Prince William headed back to work as a search-and-rescue pilot just days following the wedding, while Middleton was spotted out grocery shopping on her own earlier this week.

Justin Bieber Slams Marg Helgenberger for Calling Him a 'Brat'

Justin Bieber took to Twitter and slammed 'CSI: Crime Scene Investigation' star Marg Helgenberger who called the singer a 'brat' in an interview.

Bieber went on the offensive by posting tweets on the networking site and without naming Helgenberger he fired back, "Its kinda lame when someone you met briefly and never worked with comments on you. I will continue to wish them luck and be kind."

The 17-year-old singer continues, "I know who I am and sometimes people r just going 2 say what they want. Keep ur head up and be the man ur mama raised."

Bieber even called his alleged antics on the set of CSI a rumor saying, "Rumors are just that...rumors. In the end if you just be kind and be yourself people will know who you are. That goes for anyone I think."

He concluded with, "Don't spread gossip and don't spread rumors about others...im a kid and I know that"

In an interview last week, Helgenberger said "I shouldn't be saying this, but he was kind of a brat."

The 52-year-old actress then gave her reason on why she had such a low opinion of the 'Baby' singer. "But he locked one of the producers in a closet and he put his fist through a cake that was on the cast's table."

Pippa Middleton Offered a $5 Million Porn Contract

Ever since the Royal Wedding, it has been maid of honor Philippa 'Pippa' Middleton who has been gathering the most amount of attention, after Prince William and Kate Middleton.

Now it looks like she may have got some unwanted attention in the form of an offer in a porn movie.

TMZ is reporting that Vivid Entertainment head honcho Steven Hirsch sent Middleton a letter where he states, "As far as I am concerned, you were the star of the recent Royal Wedding. As I watched a broadcast of the event I couldn't help but think that with your beauty and attitude you could be an enormously successful adult star."

He also mentions that after seeing photos of her having a great time at a party he decided to make her an offer in an upcoming movie.

Hirsch is offering Middleton $5 million for one explicit scene and she could have her choice of partners.

Hirsh also offered a contract to Kate and Pippa's brother, James Middleton. For doing a separate scene in the same movie, James was offered $1 million.

Just last week, pictures of James in various states of undress had hit the internet.

Whitney Houston Enters Rehab for Drugs and Alcohol

Whitney Houston has entered rehab, according to TMZ. The site's source says she checked herself into a facility about 10 days ago.

"Whitney Houston is currently in an out-patient rehab program for drug and alcohol treatment," Houston's rep tells PEOPLE. "Whitney voluntarily entered the program to support her long-standing recovery process."

Houston, 47, has publicly battled drugs and alcohol in the past, entering rehab both in 2004 and 2005. Recently, Houston's 18-year-old daughter Bobbi Kristina has been caught up in an alleged cocaine scandal of her own.

Houston is allowed to leave her rehab facility with a monitor. "Just last weekend, Houston was enjoying herself at a Prince concert in LA ... with her daughter right by her side," TMZ writes.

A TMZ source adds that Houston's visit to rehab comes as "she's cleansing herself to get ready for a new movie."

Paris Hilton: I Give Things Away, Lindsay Steals Them

Although we're not sure that Paris Hilton can really talk when it comes to Lindsay Lohan's track record (the heiress has also taken a mugshot or two), in the promo released for her new reality gig, 'The World According to Paris,' she dishes out meals for the homeless and a major diss for Lohan.

In the promo video (via E! Online), Hilton pats herself on the back saying, "feeding the homeless is not actually part of my community service. I do it because I love to give back and help out whenever I can."

But not long after her shameless gloating, a homeless woman she is serving asks the heiress for her earrings. Being the model citizen she is, Hilton obliges but not before the woman says that she plans on re-gifting the jewelry to her sister, courtesy of "Lindsay [Lohan]."

But Hilton doesn't let the slip-up slide: "I'm not Lindsay. If I were Lindsay I'd be stealing the earrings, not giving them away."

But now Hilton is re-thinking her original diss.

"I apologize to Lindsay for the comment that I made," she told TMZ. "I was joking around but it was thoughtless and unnecessary."

"Thoughtless and unnecessary," that sounds more like our girl, Hilton.

Chris Brown's Mother Says He Needs to 'Deal With' Assault

Chris Brown's mother, Joyce Hawkins, is addressing her son's 2009 assault on former girlfriend Rihanna, and his recent tantrum on the set of 'Good Morning America,' saying he needs to face his actions in order to fully move on from the incident.

"He has to learn to deal with it and go on with his life," the 'Beautiful People' singer's devoted mother told Sister 2 sister magazine. "This is something that happened; it was a huge mistake... It was not good at all. But he is still a human being and we all make mistakes and we live and we go on with it."

Though Brown appeared to have gotten a handle on his anger issues, his violent outburst on the set of 'Good Morning America' on March 22 was a reminder that he still has very serious problems controlling his temper.

"I think he really needs to talk about the situation in itself, what actually happened to Rihanna... So that he can get that out for himself," Hawkins continued, conceding that he should also prepare himself to field questions about the 2009 incident with Rihanna for the rest of his career. "He needs to learn to deal with it and answer it, no matter what."

Brown's mom, who divorced his father, Clinton Brown, when the singer was very young, went on to discuss her son's leaked nude pics, which she firmly believes were not leaked intentionally.

"Chris' personality, never would have sent that," she continued. "I guess it was somebody he probably had known for a while that may have been upset with him for a certain reason, maybe he doesn't talk to them anymore."

'CSI' Star Marg Helgenberger: Justin Bieber Is a 'Brat'

CSI: Crime Scene Investigation' star Marg Helgenberger called singer Justin Bieber "a brat" while giving an interview in France.

Bieber guest-starred on the crime series drama in February and RadarOnline.com is reporting that Helgenberger was asked about the singer and his role on the show in an interview in France.

Helgenberger was asked if Bieber's role was written just to raise sagging ratings, or because the singer is "truly a good actor."

The 52-year-old actress rolled her eyes and said, "Justin Bieber wasn't 'bad' bad. But he'd never acted before . . . He's better than you'd think."

Helgenberger then said, "I shouldn't be saying this, but he was kind of a brat."

She seemed to back track a bit by saying, "I only had one small part (with Bieber)... he was very nice to me."

But then Helgenberger gave her reason on why she had such a low opinion of the 'Baby' singer. "But he locked one of the producers in a closet and he put his fist through a cake that was on the cast's table."

Robert Pattinson: I Pretended to Know Prince William

Robert Pattinson doesn't need to name drop in order to get anyone's attention these days, but that wasn't always the case for the 'Water for Elephants' star. He admitted that he pretended to know Prince William when he first arrived in the States in order to make connections.

According to UsMagazine.com, the 'Twilight' heartthrob appeared on the BBC's 'The Graham Norton Show' last week and revealed the royal trick he used when he was just starting out in Los Angeles.

"When I first came to L.A., it was very easy to convince people I was a member of the royal family. I hadn't worked for three years -- I was unemployed in London -- and when people asked what I'd been doing, I told people I went to RADA [Royal Academy of Dramatic Art] with Prince William," Pattinson said.

"People would think, 'You're English, I completely believe you!'" he continued.

Maybe Pattinson will have a chance to catch up with his old "schoolmate" when Prince William and Kate Middleton visit California this summer.

Charges to be Dropped in Justin Bieber Mall Frenzy Case

Justin Bieber has agreed to record a public service announcement on cyberbullying in order to resolve criminal charges filed against his manager and a record executive after a frenzy at a New York mall.

The case stemmed from an incident in 2009, when thousands of unruly girls turned up at a Long Island clothing store to see the teen pop star sign autographs. Police hadn't been expecting the crowd, and ordered the event cancelled.

Def Jam Records executive James Roppo was arrested after police said he refused to help disperse the crowd. Months later, police also pressed child endangerment charges against Bieber's manager, Scott Braun.

Braun hadn't been at the mall, but police said that when reached by phone he initially refused an order to send out a Twitter message to Bieber's fans telling them the singer wouldn't appear.

Prosecutors told a judge Friday that they are dropping charges against both men. The record company and a management company pleaded guilty to fire code violations.

In an interview with Newsday, Nassau District Attorney Kathleen Rice said she was happy with the outcome of the case.

"To have someone like Justin Bieber, who is emulated by kids his age across the world, educating people about the dangers of cyberbullying, that's invaluable," she said.

Gaga wrote “The Edge of Glory” after the death of her grandfather in September. “The song is about your last moment on earth, the moment of truth, the moment before you leave earth,” she said. “It can be played on the piano, but it’s actually set to this giant, huge, techno rock, Springsteen-esque dance beat.”

Paula Abdul Hired as 'X Factor' Judge; Nicole Scherzinger and Steve Jones to Co-host

The 'X Factor' judging panel is complete, with the final chair to be filled by Paula Abdul, who just closed the deal in last-minute negotiations, according to the Hollywood Reporter.

Abdul will take her seat alongside Simon Cowell, reuniting the former 'Idol' stars once again. Cheryl Cole and Antonio 'L.A.' Reid have already been named as the other 'X Factor' judges.

Meanwhile, Pussycat Doll and former 'Dancing With the Stars' champ Nicole Scherzinger has been hired to host the U.S. talent competition when it premieres on Fox in September.

But Scherzinger will have a co-host, according to EW.com: Steve Jones, British TV personality. Jones, 34, is a Welsh-born former model and a virtual unknown in the U.S. (Of course, Ryan Seacrest was largely unknown when he was tapped to emcee 'American Idol,' and the gig seems to have worked out for him!) Jones reportedly was down to the wire competing for the 'X Factor' job against 'High School Musical' star Corbin Bleu.

Scherzinger, 32, wowed producers when she was a guest judge on a recent episode of the 'X Factor' in the U.K., where she also released a hit single this year, 'Don't Hold Your Breath.'

Abdul, 48, reportedly hammered out her new contract just in the nick of time: The judging rounds of 'X Factor' begin taping in Los Angeles today.
