Jessie J 'won't sleep until as successful as Lady Gaga'

Jessie J has insisted that she 'won't sleep' until she is as famous as Lady Gaga.

The 23-year-old British singer has some big plans and said that she won't be happy until she is as successful as the Born This Way star.

She told Top of the Pops magazine, "I want to sit there with the Katy Perrys and the Gagas and the Rihannas and feel comfortable. I don't want to be the British chick who tried to make it and didn't. I'm not going to sleep until that happens."

She added that she is trying to put the UK on the map. "I'm basically trying to release music the whole way around the world at one time. It's crazy to know I can take my music to the US as well as the UK and Japan and Australia," she said.

"I want to fly the flag around the world. I think the UK deserves someone who will work their butt off and go out there and go for it."
